Michel Akkermans

Michel Akkermans is the executive chairman of Yields and a notable figure in the technology and finance industries. A serial entrepreneur, private investor, advisor, and board member, he serves on the boards of both public and private companies as well as private equity funds. Michel founded FICS, a leading software provider in the field of online banking and regulatory financial reporting, where he was Chairman and CEO. He also co-founded Clear2Pay, an innovative finance technology company that focuses on delivering global solutions for secure and efficient payments, where he served as Chairman and CEO. Michel holds an M.Sc. in electronic engineering and computer sciences along with a postgraduate degree in economics & finance from the University of Leuven.

Stan Jeanty is Principal at Volta Ventures and Co-Founder Venturius. Since January 2023 he is part of the Board of Directors of Yields.

Dr. Michael Hochholzer is Managing Director at Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) Ventures, where he focuses on investing in cybersecurity, fintech and AI-driven technologies. He brings over two decades of venture capital experience and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Yields, supporting the company’s growth and strategic expansion.

Jos Gheerardyn

Jos Gheerardyn is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yields. Prior to his current role, he worked as both a manager and an analyst in the field of quantitative finance. With nearly 20 years of experience, he has worked with leading international investment banks and start-up companies. Jos is the author of multiple patents that apply quantitative risk management techniques to the energy balancing market. Jos holds a PhD in superstring theory from the University of Leuven.

Sebastien Viguie

Sébastien Viguié is the co-founder of Yields, the first FinTech platform leveraging AI for enterprise-scale model testing and validation. A strong advocate of model risk governance and strategy, he focuses on helping financial institutions embed trust, transparency, and compliance into their AI and model lifecycle. Previously CISO at Yields, Sébastien gained hands-on experience reconciling cybersecurity principles with model risk management and AI governance, a perspective he now extends to emerging regulatory frameworks such as ISO, NIST, and the EU AI Act.Before founding Yields, he worked as a front-office quantitative analyst at BNP Paribas, where he developed a deep understanding of model development and validation in fast-paced trading environments, expertise that continues to inform his pragmatic approach to responsible AI and risk management today.
