Quantitative Model Risk Implementation Lead
We are looking for an experienced Model Risk Implementation Consultant / Project Manager to lead and manage a client implementation project involving Yields for Performance and Yields for Governance.
This is a temporary role for the duration of the project. The main focus will be on enabling Yields for Performance across the client’s organization, while also overseeing configuration updates and feature requests for Yields for Governance.
The role requires a unique blend of hands-on experience in model risk management (model development and/or validation in a financial institution), project coordination skills and technical understanding (Python and integrations).
How you'll make an impact
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Yields for Performance, ensuring smooth adoption within the client’s organization.
- Implement Yields for Performance into the clients existing processes, ensuring efficiency gains and transparency.
- Provide expert advice on model risk management to guide the client on best practices for Yields usage.
- Act as primary point of contact for the client, managing timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
- Understand and translate integration needs into requirements for the technical/integration team.
- Perform and/or oversee minor configuration updates in Yields for Governance, and coordinate feature rollouts as they become available.
- Ensure successful change management and embedding of the products in day-to-day business processes.
- Monitor and report project progress, risks, and dependencies to both client and internal stakeholders.
- Travel to client sites (US and potentially other locations) as needed.
What we're looking for
- 5–10 years of professional experience in financial services, with significant hands-on exposure to model development and/or model validation.
- Strong expertise in model risk management and familiarity with regulatory expectations (e.g. SR 11-7, ECB guidelines, …)
- Solid Python skills with the ability to understand, adapt and validate scripts and analyses within Yields for Performance.
- Proven track record of managing complex implementation projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Technical understanding of system integrations (APIs, data flows,…);
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Hands-on experience with configuration of software solutions is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
