We are looking for a Python Application Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced application developer to help expand our microservices based application. Our product is used to monitor the stability and quality of thousands of complex mathematical models. The successful candidate will be part of our R&D team. You will be working at the heart of our model monitoring / algorithmic accountability platform tackling one of the greatest challenges in machine learning.

More precisely, your role will consist in designing and developing user-friendly python library/API’s for both internal and client use. To do so, you will be collaborating on one side with the analytics development team and on the other side with the application development team, acting as an interface between the two. Some experience with big data technologies such as Spark would be a clear asset.

Required qualifications

- Expert knowledge in Python

- Experience in python library/API design and implementation

- Knowledge of Scala or alternatively Java

- Good understanding of microservices based architectures

- Able to work in an international environment

- Proficiency in English


- Exposure to big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, etc.

- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms is considered a plus

- Enthusiastic to learn about new technologies and algorithms

- Creative

- Entrepreneurial mindset

- Proficiency in English
