As our Senior QA Lead, you’ll shape how quality is built into everything we do at Yields. From defining the QA strategy to driving automation and performance testing, you’ll ensure our products are reliable, secure, and scalable. You’ll collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless releases, set best practices, and champion a culture of quality across the company.

• Define and evolve the overall QA strategy, covering automation, manual testing, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure software quality, test coverage, and defect trends.
• Align QA strategy with release management and product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, DevOps) to ensure end-to-end quality.
• Define and continuously improve testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and environments.
• Introduce best practices for test data management, mocking, and environment consistency.
• Ensure scalability of test automation across services, APIs, and front-end systems.
• Cover non-functional testing: performance, scalability, reliability, security, and accessibility.
• Lead root cause analysis and ensure recurring quality issues are systematically resolved.
• Establish documentation and reporting standards for test plans, test cases, and results.
  Communicate quality status, risks, and readiness clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
• Advocate for quality early in the planning and design stages.

• Proven experience in leading QA strategy and managing QA teams.
• Strong expertise in both automated and manual testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with creating automated, performance, and stress tests.
• Proficiency in Github, Python, Jenkins, Allure, and modern test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of testing within them.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience leveraging AI to enhance test creation and expand existing frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with JavaScript for testing frontend applications.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as k6.
  • Understanding of observability tools and practices, including OpenTelemetry.
  • Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Previous experience in software development (contributing code, understanding design patterns, debugging).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for test environment setup and scalability.
  • Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with shift-left testing and collaboration in DevOps/Agile environments.
