About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our commercial team. You will be the connection between the Customer Success and Sales Team. You will serve as the liaison between Yields and our customers, who are primarily large international financial organizations. Your role is to build a long-term relationship with our customers to maximize their use of our platform.
You will spend much time with the customers to become familiar with their plans, align them with our product vision, address their concerns and identify new opportunities that allow them to extract more value from our platform. Your role will require you to travel for approximately 40% of the time.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys staying hands-on and is motivated to make a meaningful impact for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Resolve client issues promptly and effectively
- Inform customers about new initiatives and product features
- Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions that align with our product vision.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations highlighting the features and benefits relevant to the organization’s use case.
- Design technical and commercial proposals
- Reach a yearly sales target by upselling and cross-selling products and services.
- Prepare and present reports on account performance
- Manage the contract renewal process
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services/products.
Qualifications
- At least 5Y of experience as an Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Consultant or similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and thrive in a technical environment.
- Proven track record of working in a start-up/scale-up organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication, fluent in English.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Hubspot)
- Experience working with financial institutions is a plus
- Experience in model risk management, model development/ model validation is a plus
- Knowledge of French, German, Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
